The Scientific Committee ensures the academic rigour and intellectual standards of UKAIO.
Its members design the challenging and innovative problems that competitors solve, ensuring they accurately assess critical thinking and knowledge of AI. The committee also establishes the competition's rules and judging criteria, provides expert guidance to participants and organisers, and evaluates submissions to select winners.
Members often act as ambassadors for the event, delivering talks, hosting workshops and promoting AI education among students. Their oversight ensures the competition is fair, well structured and a meaningful educational experience for everyone involved.
